Programs For Schools and Teachers

  • Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Project Grants
    are for communities and organizations to commemorate the contributions of Abraham Lincoln and celebrate the bicentennial of his birth in Kentucky in February 2009.

  • Folk Arts Project Grants
    are designed to strengthen the cultural variety of folk and traditional arts. The Folk Arts Project Grants support research, interpretation, and presentation of local and regional folk arts.

  • Performing Arts on Tour Grants
    make diverse public performing arts events available to the people of the commonwealth.

  • Teacher Initiated Program (TIP)
    place professional artists in Kentucky schools and communities for 1 or 4 week residencies to plan and implement a project with teachers, demonstrate their art form, and support Kentucky's educational reform.
