Students and theater professionals work together in a full season of productions. Upcoming highlights include “Pinocchio” (Nov. 10-19), King Lear (with University of Louisville Theatre Arts, Nov. 10-19), “Rhinoceros” (Dec. 9-17), “Cyrano de Bergerac” (Jan. 26-Feb. 4). In May, the company joins an elite handful of theaters nationwide to have completed William Shakespeare's canon of plays.

Woodford Theatre

Shohei Katayama and Andrew Cozzens are two kinetic sculptors from Louisville. Shohei Katayama’s current works focus on contemporary issues of ecology and spirituality presented as narratives. Andrew Cozzens creates sculptural installations that reference space and time and the experiences that can evolve naturally through the process of viewing. Together, for the first time in Lexington, these two talented artists will collaborate on an installation specifically designed for the LASC’s new Glo Gallery.

The Girl Project (co-founders and co-directors Ellie Clark and Vanessa Becker Weig) is an arts-meets-activism initiative where a group of teenage girls participate in six weeks of workshops with guest artists from around the nation to create a highly original performance piece incorporating spoken word, poetry, movement, dance and multimedia.
