6 Artists to Represent Kentucky at Ohio Art Show

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Nov. 17, 2017) — Six Kentucky Crafted artists will represent the Commonwealth at the Columbus Winterfair, Dec. 1-3 in Columbus, Ohio.

This partnership between Kentucky and Ohio is a continuation of a reciprocal agreement the Kentucky Arts Council has with Ohio Designer Craftsmen.

“We are thrilled when our Kentucky Crafted artists participate in out-of-state art and craft shows like Columbus Winterfair,” said Chris Cathers, interim executive director of the Kentucky Arts Council. “It allows Kentucky artists to put their best foot forward and broaden their audience. It also builds national recognition for the Kentucky Crafted arts marketing program.”

Kentucky Crafted artists participating in Columbus Winterfair are:

  • Ray Daugherty (OurBeautifulWorld), Sadieville, photography
  • Sharon Haines (Natural Accents), Park City, natural and organic products
  • Robbie Moriarty (Robbie Moriarty Art), Louisville, jewelry
  • Melissa Oesch (ReImagined by Luna), Lexington, mixed media 3-D/fiber art
  • Nora Swanson (Nora Swanson Arts), Berea, jewelry
  • May Tagher (MAYcreations), Walton, jewelry

Columbus Winterfair is at the Bricker Multipurpose Building on the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus. For more information, go to http://ohiocraft.org/craft-fairs/winterfair-columbus.
