Registration is open online for the Kentucky Arts Council’s sixth annual Kentucky Creative Industry Summit. The summit will include workshops and discussions about issues of race, equity, access, diversity and inclusion in the arts in the Commonwealth.

This year’s Summit includes:

  • An opportunity to learn about arts advocacy and build your own arts advocacy plan that will help you advocate for your own work and for the arts community.

  • An Artists Thrive workshop with Heather Pontonio from the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation where participants will work with Artists Thrive tools.

  • Your chance to get pre-certified to access facilitator and project implementation grant dollars to bring creative placemaking workshops to your community.

  • Sessions with Community Scholars who used their training to create innovative programs promoting folk and traditional arts.
