TranspARTation Directory

What is it?

The TranspARTation Directory is a list of arts organizations and venues that provide field trip options for Kentucky students to study exemplary works of dance, music, theatre, literary, visual and digital media arts. Schools choose destinations from the TranspARTation Directory when applying for funding through the TranspARTation Grant Program.

What organizations are eligible?

Any registered nonprofit organization or government/public entity operating in Kentucky.

What's the deadline to apply?

May 2, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time

How do I apply?

1. Carefully review the program guidelines.
2. Complete the online application.
3. Submit a narrative, supporting materials, and a completed accessibility checklist.

If my organization is selected for the program, what are our responsibilities?

• Sign a program agreement form.
• Meet all performance expectations noted in the program guidelines.
• Proactively encourage school teachers to apply for the TranspARTation Grant Program and work with them to develop plans for educational field trips.
• Acknowledge the Kentucky Arts Council in all public communications. ( How?)
• Inform your state legislators of your inclusion in this program (Who are my elected officials?).
• Complete and submit a final report form at the end of each fiscal year.
