Krzysztof Wolek is a composer, improviser, electronic music performer and educator. A passionate advocate of contemporary acoustic and electronic music and multimedia compositions, he graduated with a doctorate in composition and computer music from the University of Chicago. His primary composition teachers included Edward Boguslawski, Louis Andriessen, Marta Ptaszynska, Shulamit Ran and Howard Sandroff. His pieces have been performed at various festivals and venues in Europe, the United States and Asia.
