Emerging Artist Award


What is it?

The Kentucky Arts Council's Emerging Artist Award is an unrestricted $1,000 award to early-career, professional Kentucky artists who demonstrate excellence and creativity in their work.

Who’s eligible?

Professional emerging Kentucky artists (visual and media artists, writers, composers and choreographers) who are responsible for creating their own work, not interpreting the work of others or creating work under the supervision of an instructor.

What’s the deadline to apply?

11:59 p.m. Eastern time on the appropriate date.
