Ways of Seeing Exhibit


 

Artists have long explored the depths of their imagination in their artwork, presenting a fantastical version of the world we know. The artists in Ways of Seeing imagine an alternate reality by exploring the unknown or by re-envisioning the known world. Join us as this group of 19 Kentucky artists, participants in the Kentucky Crafted program and the Al Smith Individual Artists Fellowship recipients, shows us a different way of seeing.

 


Ways of Seeing was organized by the Kentucky Arts Council. It will travel around the Commonwealth of Kentucky through December 2017. See it in the following locations:

 

Appalachian Artisan Center, Hindman October – December 2016
Eastern Kentucky University Center for the Arts, Richmond January – February 2017
Whitley County Fine Arts, Williamsburg March – April 2017
Center for Rural Development, Somerset May – August 2017
Glema Mahr Center for the Arts, Madisonville September – December 2017
