Morehead State University Concert Choir and Chamber Singers

The Morehead State University Concert Choir and Chamber Singers are a part of a long tradition of choral excellence at the university. They represent the school on regional, national and international concert tours from across Kentucky to Costa Rica and Central Europe. A select group of 55 singers, the Concert Choir specializes in the performance of a cappella choral works, while the Chamber Singers, which includes 20 vocalists drawn from the Concert Choir, focuses on madrigals, challenging contemporary literature and jazz. Greg Detweiler, previously directed choirs at Alberston College, Idaho State University, Southeastern Louisiana University and Mercer University. He performed with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus, the Atlanta Chamber Chorus and the Soldiers’ Chorus of the U.S. Army Field Band.
