Blue River Bluegrass Band
Blue River is a traditional bluegrass band from the great Commonwealth of Kentucky. Since 2006, the band has performed mostly original material with a blend of old favorites thrown in for good measure. Blue River holds the title of 2008 Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America International Band Champions and has released two CDs. Blue River Bluegrass Band includes group leader Glenn Alford on mandolin and vocals, Josh Richards on guitar and vocals, Billy Edlin on banjo, Joel Whittinghill on fiddle and vocals and Paula “Boogie” Alford on bass and vocals.
