Programs For Not-For-Profit Arts Organizations

  • Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Project Grants
    are for communities and organizations to commemorate the contributions of Abraham Lincoln and celebrate the bicentennial of his birth in Kentucky in February 2009.

  • Arts Build Communities Grants
    encourage partnerships that contribute to the cultural, social, educational and economic growth of the community.

  • Folk Arts Project Grants
    are designed to strengthen the cultural variety of folk and traditional arts. The Folk Arts Project Grants support research, interpretation, and presentation of local and regional folk arts.

  • Governor's Awards in the Arts
    The Commonwealth's highest honor in the arts recognized the outstanding and significant contributions of artists, individuals, organizations, schools, educators, businesses, media and government to the arts in Kentucky.

  • Kentucky Arts Partnership Grants
    provide the Arts Council with the opportunity to work in partnership with the state’s arts organizations to ensure that Kentuckians value the arts, participate in the arts and benefit from the arts.

  • Performing Arts on Tour Grants
    make diverse public performing arts events available to the people of the commonwealth.
