ARTIST'S STATEMENT

My creativity is fueled by a fascination with the possibilities of what a painting can be. Although artists have pushed the boundaries of painting for a long time, we are still finding new ways to make art and a place for art in our ever-changing world.

I am very interested in various ideas regarding the nature of painting, and have researched and developed several methods of working to address these ideas. By mixing materials and techniques, I have begun to create a theme that runs throughout my work. I use color and process as a vehicle to convey mood and sensation in my paintings. I look forward to continuing my artistic development for many years to come.
