Writing Grants for Arts Projects
Are you interested in writing grants for arts projects in your community?
Come learn about these Kentucky Arts Council grants and programs: Arts Build
Communities, Performing Arts on Tour, Folk Art Projects, Teacher Initiated
Program grants and the Kentucky Peer Advisory Network. You will also learn
about resources and directories available to help you locate talented artists
throughout the state who work in the performing, visual, craft, media, literary
and teaching arts. This workshop will include tips on writing effective grant
applications and program applications as well as demonstrate how to navigate
through the online grant system (KASOL). This workshop is for arts
organizations, nonprofit community organizations, tourism and economic
development leaders, schools and colleges, extension agents and local
government agencies.

New Tools: How to Submit Your Artwork
Electronically In partnership with the Kentucky Arts Council,
Lexington Art League is presenting a one-day workshop at the Loudoun House
which will focus on preparing the professional artist for the technological
expectations of todays world. Learn to effectively utilize electronic
applications and grant proposals, prep your images for submission, and
participate in a mock jury of others work for a first-hand experience of
the jury process.
