Join the Kentucky Arts Council and Lifetime Arts for Creative Aging is Healthy Aging, a free, one-hour webinar exploring the growing field of creative aging and the important role artists and aging-services professionals can play in supporting healthy, connected communities.
The online event will be held on Wednesday, September 30, at 2 p.m. Eastern.
Whether you’re an artist interested in expanding your practice or an aging-services professional looking for new ways to engage the people and communities you serve, this introductory session will provide a foundation for understanding creative aging and its possibilities.
During the webinar, participants will explore how creative aging supports health, social connection and more livable communities and learn how other states are incorporating creative aging into their State Plans on Aging.
The Kentucky Arts Council is hosting this session in partnership with Lifetime Arts, with support from the E.A. Michelson Philanthropy through the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies.
