Comfort for America 250 Exhibition
For the semiquincentennial, the Loomhouse will be exhibiting coverlets woven in patterns from the founding era, civil war era, and beyond. Alongside these historic pieces, the Lou Tate Gallery will feature contemporary work by current artists and artisans who answer the question, “What artistic items are you creating in your home to bring you comfort?” Crafting Comfort for America250 exhibition will officially open June 27th in conjunction with an announcement that the Little Loomhouse will make its archive publicly searchable.

Historic Exhibition: June 27, 2026 – July 31, 2027
Gallery Hours: Tues-Fri 10am-3pm, Sat 11am-4pm. Gallery is free, guided tours of the entire exhibition are $10 and can be scheduled on the website. Searching the Little Loomhouse archives from your home will be available starting June 27th here.
