Learn dynamic techniques to reach all learners in your classroom using the updated Universal Design for Learning (UDL). In this professional development session, Catie Bates Robertson of Arts for All Kentucky will introduce you to the UDL and recent 3.0 modifications. You will be provided with a general understanding of this method and how to use UDL in arts-based instruction. We will share samples and answer questions about applying this method to the classroom and other instructional settings. This Webinar is free, but registration is required.
About the Presenter:
Raised in Western Kentucky, Catie Bates Robertson graduated with a Liberal Arts degree in Art History and Spanish with a minor in Metalsmithing from Murray State University in 2006. After a few years, she also received a Masters Degree in Human Development and Leadership with a focus on Nonprofit Management in 2015. She has worked in art galleries in Paducah and Murray and at the Noguchi Museum in New York. She has been a volunteer for the local arts nonprofits in Murray since 2014. Currently, she is the executive director of Arts for All Kentucky as of September 2023.
