Louisville Ballet returns for Kentucky Shakespeare’s annual free Shakespeare in the Park
festival with a new interpretation of Hamlet by Roger Creel performed by the artists of Louisville Ballet. Join us before the performance for food trucks, Will’s Tavern, pre-show performances by community dance groups, Kids’ Globe activities, and more!

The performances will take place in Central Park, and are free and open to the public.

Performances will take place August 5-9, 2026. Each night will feature pre-show activities beginning at 7:15 pm, which will be followed by Hamlet & Ophelia at 8:00 pm.
