Join Kentuckians for the Arts and other arts supporters to hear how to advocate for the arts in the current policy and funding landscape, share information provided by KFTA with your legislators, network with your colleagues, and more. Events include a reception at 1 p.m. on the Capitol mezzanine.
Prep Call for Arts Day: Monday, Feb. 10, 2 p.m., Eastern. Register to participate in a statewide virtual training call providing an overview, tips and key information to help you talk with legislators about the importance of the arts and make the most of Arts Day!
Before Feb. 13: Make an appointment to meet your Senator or Representative. You must have an appointment as walk-ins are not likely to be admitted. If you are unable to make an appointment for that day, you can drop off a note and other materials.
Legislative appointment form: Please let KFTA know if you are able to schedule a meeting and who you will be meeting with. We are trying to coordinate meetings with as many legislators as possible.
