Lori Meadows is Board Chair of Kentuckians for the Arts, the commonwealth’s arts advocacy organization. She also serves on multiple arts boards and advisory committees and is Kentucky state captain for Americans for the Arts. From 2005 until her retirement in 2016, Meadows served as Executive Director of the Kentucky Arts Council, where she worked to support and grow Kentucky’s arts and creative sector. Over her 22-year tenure with the council, she also served as Individual Artist Director and Executive Staff Advisor before her appointment as director. Today, Meadows works as an independent consultant specializing in arts administration and nonprofit organizational management, continuing her work in advancing the arts.
