Mollie Quinlan-Hayes supports artists and arts organizations in crisis through her work with the National Coalition for Arts Preparedness and Emergency Response (NCAPER) and the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA.) As NCAPER’s fund development and program officer, she advances policy and practice to strengthen the arts sector’s resilience. At NYFA, she coordinates the Rauschenberg Emergency Grants, helping artists return to their creative practice. She consults nationally in Atlanta on strategic planning, readiness, grantmaking, and program design. Previously, as deputy director of South Arts, she led programs like ArtsReady, the South Arts State Fellowships, Jazz Road, and the Dance Touring Initiative. She also played a key role in creative placemaking and arts education research. Earlier, she was assistant director at the Arizona Commission on the Arts. Mollie holds a certificate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Executive Program in Arts and Culture Strategy.
