Volunteers needed for the 2026 Kentucky Crafted Market 


The Kentucky Crafted Market returns to Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park on March 6–8, 2026, celebrating the work of more than 120 of Kentucky’s finest artists and craftspeople. In addition to shopping, the Market features live music, artist demonstrations, and hands-on activities for all ages. 

Volunteers play a vital role in making the Market a success. Opportunities are available Thursday, March 5, through Sunday, March 8, with three-hour shifts offered throughout the event. (Available times by day can be found on the registration page.) 

Volunteer roles may include: 

  • Providing short breaks for exhibitors by monitoring booths 
  • Assisting Kentucky Arts Council staff with event needs 
  • Offering hospitality and assistance to Market guests 
  • Supporting hands-on activities and demonstrations 
  • Helping with show setup and teardown 

The Market opens to wholesale buyers on March 6 and to the general public on March 7–8 at Alltech Arena, Kentucky Horse Park, 4089 Iron Works Pike, Lexington. 

About being a volunteer 

  • Volunteers must be 18 years or older 
  • Shifts are filled on a first-come, first-served basis 
  • By registering, volunteers commit to the days and times selected 
  • Some roles may require standing, lifting, carrying, or working outdoors
